Downloadable News Kobo Issue

I have a Kobo Touch and when I sync the downloadable news from Calibre it puts it on my device just fine, except it puts it into the book category rather than the Newspaper/ Magazine category how can I change this? Is it even possible?

My thoughts on how to do this are:
What format are the Kobo newspapers in? If I could find there format I could try switching to it and see if that works.

Kobo newspapers are in (surprise surprise) the Kobo ePub format (kEpub).
