Steve Perry...SciFi author

For those of you who have followed Steve Perry's writing may be interested to know he anticipates publishing two more books in his Matador series. He stated that his original "paper" publisher was no longer interesting in publishing them so he will most likely release it in ebook format.

Our email is as follows:
*********************************************

> Steve,
> I wrote you several years ago about The Matador series.
> I've enjoyed them all, as I have all the other books of yours that I have read. Great writing.
> My question: Will there ever be more books in the Matador series, or have you exhausted that concept?
>
> I look forward to reading more books by you in the future.
>

Ralph --

I have at least two in mind. The first, Churl, picks up twenty or so year after the Revolution. The second, The Siblings of the Shroud, goes to the creation of that organization. Both will be ebooks, since Ace has no interest in continuing the series, and will probably be published along with the backlist Matador titles as ebooks at the same time.

Steve

************************************************** **

Hope this is of interest to some of you out there.

Ralph

I have read well over 10,000 books in my lifetime, and I consider him to be the worst author I have ever read. Much worse than Kevin J. Anderson (the second).

JeremyR, you are of course entitled to your opinion. I don't share it.
And what bearing does your comment have on my announcement about his releasing new novels?

I have quite enjoyed Perry's books. Also, I might add that I had occasion to contact him in the past and found him to be quite approachable and helpful.
