iPad - White or Black

Which do you prefer. White or Black.

Colors are personal preference, but I think black is more elegant and nice. I find black better when reading or using the tablet as ereader, but that's just me

Black looks nice when you are watching a movie on you iPad, as it blends well into the background. White, however, doesn't show fingerprints nearly as much as the black border, so I bought the white, and I am very happy with it.

I was debating getting a white iPad 2, since my iPad 1 was black...but by the time I actually was let in to the Apple Store all they had left was black.

But, there is always the iPad 3

My sister in law is in the market for an iPad. I would love one. Or even an Android tablet. But I think I want an iPad more.

I'm hoping to pick mine up next week and will definately be getting a white one. But i'm gonna put a red smart cover on it

I was listening to a podcast that said the black one is better for watching tv and film as it is less distracting to the eye. I was wondering if the same goes for reading?

I can see how it would be less distracting to the eye when watching videos. I Like my white border when reading, however, as it doesn't show fingerprints and it sort of blends into the background. To each his own, though.
