Blue tooth keyboard

I have a Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000 that I connected to my iPhone with no issues. I, of course, tired connecting it to the PE, but I can only get it "paired but not connectted" message.

Anyone had luck getting a bluebooth keyboard connected to their PE?

There are two protocols for BT keyboards; one is a standard HID device and the other is serial port emulation (I forget what it's called for now). Might be that the keyboard isn't compatible. I have paired a Zagg keyboard meant for an iPad no problems.

Also make sure the PE is set to discoverable or it won't work, and you need to key a passcode into the keyboard as well unlike other BT devices.

I just use USB though. I get dropped keys on Bluetooth when I type quickly, and Bluetooth is a power hog.

Thanks for the link! I am able to connect using that app mentioned in your link. I am now typing on my bluetooth keyboard thanks to you!

Without that app, the keyboard pairs, but is not connected. The app wants your keyboard in that state and it will make a connection from your paired devices. I
didn't realize you need an app to get it from the paired, but not connected state to the paired AND connected state.
