Saving after modifying metadata
I have a problem that seems to have started after moving to Version 0.8.12
After editing metadata when I go to 'OK' it comes up with variations of the message below: calibre, version 0.8.12 ERROR: Permission denied: Could not open F:\Calibre\mitchells257@gmail.com\Ancient (7865)\Ancient - mitchells257@gmail.com.azw. Is it being used by another program? Using Windows 7 Home Premium. Anyone else had this problem? mitch13 |

That is a strange error. You might want to reboot your system and try again.
Why is your email where the author should be? It still should work, I was just wondering if this was by design? Last edited by DoctorOhh; 08-02-2011 at 03:55 AM. |

It looks like some sort of permission error. Did you check that you have write permissions for all the files in your library?
Also, AZW files may be protected by DRM. Although I'd expect a different error message then, but still, you should check that. |
