About E-books

There is some E-book in which one could write something other than notes? in any format, in practice I want an e-book which can be used as a notebook, something with E-ink screen and not LCD

There is a Notepad app for the Kindle, but I don't know much about it. There have been a number of threads about it, both on mobileread, and on the Amazon discussion forum, and probably on kindleboards, too.

E-readers typically do not do much in the way of generic writing apps.

E-ink's slow refresh rate makes it poorly suited for creating and manipulating documents. So no, there aren't any e-ink devices geared towards writing.

The most you can probably do is get the Nook Simple Touch Reader, root it, install generic Android, and then use the writing apps for Android on it.

If you mean you just don't like backlit screens, and would be ok with non-backlit LCD, you might be interested in the Asus eeePad. Some people have been writing in the forums about that.

The enTourage eDGe is geared toward writing, but it includes an LCD along with an e-ink screen (folds like a book, uses Wacom penabled stylus on e-ink side). No longer being made, but available on ebay (and sometimes elsewhere) in 2 sizes.

See the enTourage forum under Android for more info.

Good luck!
