New to everything!
I'm brand new to this site and to eReaders! I just ordered a Skytex Primer that I found for a steal at just $50 refurbished by manufacturer. It should be in my hands Monday or Tuesday.

A friend at work showed me his Kindle as well as introducing me to this site. So I started searching around and peaked my interest to check it all out.

Well I guess that's it for now, just wanted to say a quick hello.

A quick question, what is the difference between a .pdf or say a .doc for reading off the eReader? Is it going to appear differently? Is there a preferred format that is easy on the eyes to read or has a good flow?

My Primer that I just received works with ePub, Irc, PDF, HTML, and TXT
