Hello from Florida :)

Hi all,
I'm Paul from Florida usa and I have a Sony 505 that I just love. I recently found out about Calibre and I think it's awesome! So thanks to the developers for creating this.
I do have one question that I can't find an answer to. I was wondering, after I add an e-book to the Calibre Library, can I remove the original file by deleting or moving it? I hesitate to try because I've added a lot of books already and I don't want to mess up the database. I don't want to have duplicate files either because my HDD space is a bit limited.

Thanks again for a great application, I'll be using this one all the time.

If you delete the book from your 505, Paul, it will remain in your Calibre library to upload for a re-read any time you like. If you remove a book from Calibre Library itself, it's gone for ever. A wee tip, too many books on the 505 will slow it down. Calibre will store thousands safely for you. Don't overload the device and rely on your virtual library shelves at Valibre.

Good to have your company, happy e-reading and very best wishes. Neil

aha ok thanks a lot. That's exactly what I thought. I never have loaded a lot of books because I only read one 'till the end, so I usually just have a complete series and then replace those when I'm done.
Thank you for the fast answer.
