Kindle 3
Nook Touch Sony 350 Kobo Touch All are good readers, look at their features (try them in stores if possible) and see which one fits you best. |

Kindle 3's web browser isn't horrible, but it's not all that good either (better on "mobile" sites that regular). eInk is going to be less that ideal for casual surfing, but it's not too bad for checking email quick or looking something up.
Nook Touch, I don't know but someone will answer I'm sure (I know you can't use it to download books). Sony 350, doesn't have a browser as it has no wireless. Kobo Touch, I don't know. |

What features are you looking for? Sony & Amazon are going to be coming out with new readers sometime soonish. So I would wait before buying to see what they have vs the others. Supposedly, Amazon is going to have a touch reader. But it will still have vender lock-in big time.

Sony is supposedly going to have wifi. No idea if a browser will be added as well if wifi is true. But what else do you want? Do you want ePub? Do you want Mobipocket? Do you want touch?

I don't care if it is touch or not, and ePub would be nice, but what ereaders support it?
