What Should I Read Next?
“You have to be a speedy reader because there’s so so much to read.” ~Dr. Seuss
I’d like to thank Dr. Seuss for making my slow reading even more painful. I can’t read upside down. I can’t read with my eyes shut. My tendency to fall asleep at the book makes me want to trash my hut zut. The list of things I want to read is too big for me to even think about making a decision, so you get to choose my fate. Quest? Punishment? I’ve given a few candidates in the poll and included the other option for you to suggest something else. No genre is off limits so if you’re thinking paranoid-historical-crime-epistolary-apocalyptic-zombie-western-romance then suggest it. Kindle availability might be a limiting factor though. |

Well, I don't think the others are crap, but would recommend something by Paul Auster - The New York Trilogy should keep you awake

Shadows of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. Once you're hooked the other books will follow :-).

Thanks for the suggestions TGS and melaniejaxn. Oddly, the New York Trilogy is not available to customers within Canada, but I can get it at the local library. Geographic restrictions in action.
![]() I just need to find my library card. |

I voted for Thud.
1. It was on your list, so you're thinking about it. 2. Its by Terry Pratchett and those who like him tend to like him a lot. ![]() Enjoy whatever you end up choosing! ![]() |

Interesting. The book that's been on my wish list for the longest time is the one that ended up with no votes.
