Libra pro ereader?
Hello! I have finally decided to take the plunge and buy an ereader. Sadly, cost is going to be a major issue, so I have been looking at the lower priced models. The libra pro seems to be the best for the money as I've seen them for less than $50 on ebay. I don't mind no wifi, or any other bell and whistles. I only want something that reads books and does that well. I know that it is a butt ugly little thing but I've read reviews for other, cheap ereaders that look nicer and may have more features but don't seem as well made. Does anyone have it? Is it good? I tend to keep my gadgets until they break so I want to make sure I'm making a good choice.

I do not have the Libre Pro, but from what I understand it is almost exactly like the Jetbook, which I do have. The Jetbook is a great ereader. It reads almost any format, including those pesky ADE library books. It is a wonderful reader. You should post your question in the Jetbook forum for answers from actual Libre Pro owners.

One significant limitation of the Libre Pro is that I believe it has no support for hyperlinks within books. That's a major issue if the book has endnotes, as many do.

Another thing--it is really probably not the easiest and simplest to use ereader. I would say do not get it for a beginner or a technologically challenged person.
