Different Editions
Hi together ...
I have searched for a while but couldn't find something ... What is the best way to handle the same book in different editions? Say, one has the editions 1, 2 and 3 of a specific book. There is no such a metadata field ... Thanks in advance. Tommy |

You can only have 1 of any FORMAT Type in a Single book Title (record) You need to make the Author-Title combination, Different (new record. New book folder will be created) to avoid duplicate detection triggering. |

In case it's not clear from the above, if the author and title are not unique, you will trigger duplicate detection, and Calibre will ask if you want the duplicates, but you can always say yes, confirm you want duplicates, then just mark the custom column as version 1, 2 or 3.
