Cannot see Kindle

I just installed the latest Calibre update and the icon " send to device" has disappeared. If I right click on a title I see "send to device" but the options are greyed out. "My Computer" can see the Kindle OK.
I'd be grateful if anyone can suggest what has gone astray.

It would be worth posting the Device detection debug log as mentioned here in the FAQ. That would at least allow us to see what calibre is detecting.
