Kindle Speed Question

Question for ya'll--

Kindle A - wifi only, bought last November. I recently removed a lot of stuff in an attempt to speed it up. It now has 6 pages in collections view, some of the collections have 70 items.

Kindle B - 3G with SO, bought this week. Only 1 collection, 5 pages in collection view.

Kindle B is lightning fast compared to Kindle A. Is something wrong with Kindle A or do I still have too much stuff on it?

Within a book the page turn speeds are the same. But from home, collection view, turning a page.....there is a huge difference.

Opinions? Recommendations?

I suspect the large number of items in the Kindle 1 has a big impact. However, the K1 had a slower processor than the K2 and a lot less internal flash memory meaning your books are most likely stored on an SD card which is slower than internal memory. The K2 only as internal memory, no SD card slot. And the smaller internal flash memory size of the K1 also means less memory on which to do processing, hence it will tend to be slower when processing. So it is probably a combination of slower hardware and more items.

I should have been more clear...both of them are K3's.
