Deleting whole collections

Is there a way to delete an entire collection and all the books in it? Is there a way to wipe a kindle completely of all books and collections? I just reformatted my computer and lost my calibre library so I thought it might be a good time to start over from scratch.

The obvious solution would be to connect the Kindle to your computer, open the Documents folder, highlight all the files, and hit the Delete key. Or am I missing something?

Mine is busy at the moment so I can't spot check, but I think that there's a factory restore.

Home --> Menu --> Settings --> Menu -- Restore

As best I can remember.

If you're using this method, make sure you delete the index too.

If you want to remove all books, a factory reset is the way to go.

He doesn't want to delete all the book on the kindle, just the books in a particular Collection. I haven't found a way to do this with the Kindle, even deleting books in a Collection require 2 steps to delete as the first "delete" just dumps it out of the collection.

You might want to go back and read the original post again.

Maybe, but I was replying to the question:

Is there a way to wipe a kindle completely of all books and collections?
