prs 950 duplicate titles

I have a minor problem with my 950. When I load an epub to the 950 from my computer, then later load a new version of the epub, I find that my 950 seems to think there are two copies of the epub even though I deleted the first one using my computer windows explorer. How can I convince the 950 that I only have one copy on it?

Assuming it works the same as the 505 & 650, do the deletion via the Library software, not windows explorer.

Alternatively, delete it from the 950. Options -> Delete Book, while the book is open.

Thanks to both of you for your fast reply. I don't have the Sony library software because I don't plan to buy any epubs from Sony (or any other seller), but the open book in 950 and choose delete works great.

Another way to delete books from the 950 is to choose books from the home screen, then click the Option button on the 950. Choose delete, and a small box will appear next to the book covers. Check the box for each book you want to delete, then click Done at the top right.
