hi,
I am a librarian - best job ever for a bookworm, except I am so busy buying books with other people's money that I rarely buy for myself. But I read all the time.

I have a kobo but really don't like the Kobo store - it's search box is terrible - no way to narrow and focus. A George T.R. Martin search gives 93,000 results and none of the, seem to be his new book - A Dance with Dragons.
Is it just not going to be available in that format?

Good to have your company, Inkling. Yup, Kobo's a sound device, but the library leaves much to be desired. What most of us here have done (and we swear by it -- as do about a million others) is to download the excellent and free Calibre library software that was developed by an active MR member called Kovid Goyal and is ever-evolving. Best software out there for what you need. You'll find it here: http://www.calibre-ebook.com. It will store thousands of ebooks, automatically catalogue for you and even convert from format to format if an ebook isn't padlocked by DRM. There's a Calibre-dedicated sub forum here at MobileRead if you want to read more about it before giving it a whirl. Happy Koboing and very best wishes. Neil
