hi im living in western australia and thinking of buying the new kindle with the 3g and wifi i was wondering should i buy the kindle or just buy an e reader from the shops been looking at the kindle for ages just wasnt shore that it would work over here

hi ive just recieved my kindle and well the reception isnt the best can i still download books but to my pc and then to the kindle pretty confused really

Yes, you can download books to your PC and then sideload to your Kindle. Many of us use Calibre to catalogue and control our ebooks on a PC.

What type of reception are you speaking about?

Is your Kindle having difficulty connecting to your network (such as an at home router) or are you not receiving good 3G connections?

or Both???
