Txt->EPUB Conversion Issue
When i convert, all punctuation (except for periods, comma's, and exclamation's) are removed, tried default and changing a bunch of settings, but no luck :/.
example: Txt “Rahl… how are you coming on Tales of the Founders?“ In the light of a spring afternoon, Kian glanced across the workroom toward his younger son, seated behind the battered but spotless oak copying table. The two south windows were glazed and overlarge for the workroom, but the light they provided made the work far easier. EPUB Rahl how are you coming on Tales of the Founders? In the light of a spring afternoon, Kian glanced across the workroom toward his younger son, seated behind the battered but spotless oak copying table. The two south windows were glazed and overlarge for the workroom, but the light they provided made the work far easier. Thank you for any help or suggestions ![]() Last edited by nrich61; 07-07-2011 at 04:20 PM. |

you need to specify the correct character encoding under Look & Feel in the conversion settings.

They key word in that link are should. Firefox tries to detect the encoding but it is not a 100% accurate process. Calibre also tries to detecte the encoding in TXT files but often it fails. That said Firefox does a better job than calibre with TXT encoding auto detection.
