Help with fonts

Sigil/ePub newbie here (as will be very clear from my question below).

Can someone please explain to me the use of fonts in Sigil? I figured out how to add them to the fonts list but how do I apply specific fonts to specific portions of my text?

The FAQ and manual don't really come up with much when searching for fonts.

Thanks,
Guy

Have a look at my Quick and Dirty ePub tutorial (see my signature). There's a section on font embedding in Sigil.

Thank you, Pablo!
I have seen information on embedding fonts and manually editing style sheets, but if I'm understanding you correctly, there is no WYSIWYG interface for it. Correct?

No, it's not like you select a chunk of text and assign a font to it. You have to include the font in your document and then modify the CSS, first to declare the fonts and second to select which font you will use for each element type. Or you can simply apply the font family to the body and that's it. But it's less complicated than it sounds.

I just discovered that fonts that displayed correctly in book view with 0.3.4 don't display at all with 0.4.0, so if you're getting frustrated and confused, check your version.
