Is There Code to Stop Text-to-Speech at End of Passage?
Hi,
I recently published a book that contains numerous cartoons interspersed with over a dozen text verses: a verse followed by maybe a dozen cartoons followed by another verse, followed by more cartoons, and so forth. The verses sound quite good when listened to using text-to-speech (TTS). The problem is that when using TTS, it jumps immediately from the end of one verse to the beginning of the next, passing over all the verses in between. I built the book from scratch using HTML code. I don't suppose (now that's a negative way to put it!) there's any code that can be inserted at the end of a section of text to turn off or pause the TTS function. Or another workaround that would accomplish my goal? Thanks, Bill |
