trouble with metadata...

hey, everyone...

looked around and couldn't find a solution.
if there's already one out there...i'd appreciate a nudge in the right direction.

since updating to a recent version of calibre i've had issues editing metadata individually. (manually)
whenever i highlight a book and select EDIT METADATA individually calibre just STOPS. no response.

any ideas?

running win 7 pro 64bit.

You likely have a dual screen setup abd the edit metadata is opening on the other screen.

you're absolutely right...thanks!!!!

when metadata editing just wonked out one day...i just dealt with it.
the software's worth it.
oddly, i've ALWAYS had a dual screen set up and it worked before.
i never noticed it opening on the other screen recently (plasma's usually not on the extended screen unless i'm watching a movie or surfing from the couch) b/c there's no notification in the taskbar.

like i said before...the software's worth it.
but, i'm glad i can edit!!!!
