Calibre and Comics and collectable cards.
G'day people,
I have a decent comic collection - I've been collecting comics for over 40 years, I use Comic Rack and comic vine scrapper to catalogue them without any issues. Comic Vine scrapper has been recently updated and it works a treat. However I rather like Calibre and am of the opinion that it is far superior (my humble opinion so don't shoot me for saying it) for cataloguing searching etc etc. Is there a comic vine scrapper plugin for Calibre? to enable cover and metadata downloads? I also have an extensive collection of collectable cards, star trek, hyborian gates, lord of the rings silver surfer etc etc they number in the many many thousands also collected over 25 plus years. I've never really found a suitable application for collectors of cards, I was just wondering if any one had an opinion on the suitability of Calibre for that job as well? Is there perhaps a plugin to enable Calibre for card collectors. I'd love to be able to catalogue my cards to look through them every so often, all my cards are sealed and put away in UV protected cases etc and have only ever been handled once to put them in their containers. I keep resisting the urge to open the containers to look at them so cataloguing them and at least having a pictorial catalogue would be nice. Regards to all. |
