Problem With Ebook

Ok I was reading a book on my Libre Pro and it says up the top 328/329 and stops dead in the middle of a sentence and says last page. I checked out the book on my Kobo which is dying and the books actually has a lot more to go. I also opened the book on Calibre and it shows the same thing, the books has a lot more than what the Libre Pro is letting me read. Yes there are 329 in that books but what the hell is happening on the Libre?!

I was wondering why the book on my Libre Pro has stopped dead like a quarter of the way through it? I'm currently reading Dead Water's Embrace by Stephen Leigh.

Any help would be great. I just find it really weird! I would read the book on my Kobo but like I said it's on the way out and everything is going nuts on it.

I have added it to the SD card and to the main memory. Same thing happens...

As long as you have it in Calibre, why not "convert" it to epub with the "jetBook 5-inch"
output profile set. You can do a "conversion" even if it already is a .epub file. It should
reexamine the page/chapter structure and make any adjustments needed, most likely
fixing the problem.

As to why you are seeing the problem in the first place, I have no idea.

Luck;
Ken

OK, that's no problem. When you have Calibre open you should see the
book you added. If it is not there add it. Then right click on that entry
and one of the available selections will be to "Convert books". When you
move your cursor over that you will be offered the option to "Convert individually", select that.

You should now have a page with "Input format:" on the left side of the page
and "Output format:" on the right side. Because your book is already an
EPUB, that is what should be showing in the "Input format:" on the left side
of the page. You want it to remain an .epub so - select EPUB for the
"Output format:" on the right side of the page.

Now - select "Page Setup" Then -from the Output profiles listed select
"JetBook 5-inch".

That is all you need to do. So - click on the OK button.

After the "conversion" is complete, right click on the entry again and select
"Open containing folder". You should then have an .epub file, you would have
two if you made any changes to the Metadata.

Copy that file to your Libre Pro or your SD card and check it out.

Luck;
Ken
