Problem with font sizes in PDFs

Hey there, I'm new to this forum but have been reading a few really useful tips the past two days (since I bought my reader).

Now I was experimenting with creating PDFs instead of rtf files from my own works (since I wanted a header image to show up). That worked out fine, just the text on the following pages is slightly messed up. There's single lines suddenly in a different font style and size than the majority of it.

I created the file using Microsoft Word 2010 and saved it as PDF.

Any ideas on why that problem was caused and how to fix it?

Oh *facepalm* Yeah I already fixed it myself. You mods can either delete the thread or leave it here if you think it might be useful for someone else.

Here's what I did: I went over the file, highlighted ALL the text and set the font style and size anew. I suppose, even though in Word it all shows up in one font just fine, Word sometimes messes with the formatting. I figured that when I highlighted the text and couldn't see the selected font displayed.
