Kindle 3 cases on Ebay
I found a great case for my Kindle 3 on ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...:X:AAQ:US:1123 I'm not trying to sell anything, just pointing out where a good quality, inexpensive case can be found. They even have free shipping in the U.S. so the price that they have for the case on ebay is the total cost. |

I got one off ebay a few days ago, since it was under 10$ I thought why not, let's check it out.

It does look like the same model. Just different seller shipping point. The seller I got mine from is in Phoenix Az rather than Hong Kong. I really like my case. It gives good protection for the Kindle and looks good as well.

I received the black one from Hong Kong two days ago, and I am very
happy with it. Lightweight, but sturdy. Cheers. |

I bought a little pink K3 cover off Ebay and I love that thing! Paid $12.99 for it, shipped to me. It's so lightweight, that's one thing I really like about it. I have an Amazon lighted cover, and I have an M-edge cover, love those too, but I keep coming back to the Ebay one because it's so lightweight.

I got a very high quality Timbuk2 case for my old K2 for $19 incl shipping. Deals are out there...
Don't ever pay more than $10 for a neoprene sleeve for anything from a cell phone to a 17" laptop. Last edited by Mark Rehorst; 03-26-2011 at 10:55 AM. |

That reminds me of a poem I heard many years ago- it was a kid saying something about the naugahyde furniture his parents just brought home and how the kid was glad that he wasn't around when the nauga died... |

I've never heard of naugahyde. Anyway whether it's real leather or synthetic it makes quite an attractive case for my K3 anyway, and aught to keep it from looking scuffed up for quite a while.

I have purchased 3 case for Kindle3 off ebay from China all under $10. Brown, Purple and Lime green. They are the type with bands on each corner. I use one on my Kobo. They are all faux leather and well made.

I have a little cheap cover I bought off Ebay that I love, it weighs 4.2 oz and is by far the lightest of all my covers I own (and I own WAY too many!). I don't know if mine is the same one that's been discussed here.

PU leather is a thin piece of worthless trash leather that has polyurethane allied to the surface and embossed. It has none of the attribute of leather and will crack over time.
It does look good, and is probably all we can expect at this price. If you want real leather with the snap on the correct side for reading ($3-5 more depending on color) look here. Last edited by chas0039; 06-02-2011 at 04:48 PM. |

I have one of these cases. I think that I actually got it from the same vendor. Its fit is very good, cut-out are where they should be to allow access to the buttons etc. The cover folds back flat and makes it easy to hold. Light weight. The screen side cover is stiff enough to offer some protection there. Really what else do you need in a "book" type cover. I still need to get a waterproof cover for outdoors camping and the like. Right now this one does just fine, plus for $10 bucks its worth it.

I'm going to get one of these too. I'm reluctant to pay too much money for a Kindle 3 cover, since tomorrow Amazon release a new Kindle and I want to upgrade and have to pay a lot of money again for a cover. This surely is fine to me. Thanks for the recomendation.
