Broken of E-ink

It's a diaster... My PE just slipped out of my hands and drop down ...
I can see that E-Ink side broke inside and can not display anymore...

Can I just call the customer service to replace E-Ink?
(Just bought last December..from Amazon)

e-ink screen replacement is surely quite expensive, but with other ebook readers it's a not so difficult job
I'm very sorry but no warranty would cover this

lorenzoens is correct that accidental damage isn't covered by the enTourage warranty. Customer Service may be able to give you a repair estimate.

Thanks for your reply~
I understand that free replacement will not be acceptable.
If the replacement cost + shipment over 100 USD, I think i'll rather buy another PE. (I'm in Taiwan)

Oh No, I know how that feels, since my edge is no longer working. At least replacement is still possible. Good luck.

How sad, Sunnyone!

I was worrying about such a thing yesterday when I was running around the supermarket with my PE in my hand. If someone had bumped into me I would have dropped mine, too.

Good luck with whatever repair/replace option you choose!
