e-ink calendar?

In the help thing there is a reference to a calendar that apparently lets you jot down dates/times and notes. However I can't for the life of me find where it is. In case things have changed, I'm running Ermine.

Any ideas? Thanks.

When you open Calendar from the LCD screen a calendar page opens on the eink.

Oddly, this worked for me at first. But now, I have to go to the "day" setting before the eInk calendar page opens up. Weird.

I didn't try the calendar in Dingo before upgrading, but yes, in Ermine, first go to the Apps tray (tap the X near the bottom of the tablet screen) and tap Calendar. Then when the calendar comes up, tap a specific day to open a page for it on the e-ink side. You can change the configuration of the page (regular time/activity set-up, To Do list w/checkboxes, shopping list) on the e-ink menu.

If you click onto a different page or close the Calendar or shut off the Edge, it saves whatever you have written on the various daily pages.

I LOVE THIS FEATURE SO MUCH. It's nearly as groovy as my paper 8 1/2 x 11 Payne Publishers Academic Time:Master planner book.

Thanks folks, I hadn't tried selecting a day to display. The moment I did it worked.

Glad you got it to work!

Is there any way to get my google to-do list to pop up with the new Ermine calendar?

I have been using a separate app to sync my google tasks: http://www.appbrain.com/app/gtasks/org.dayup.gtask
It's a widget as well, so you can just have it up on your home dock all the time.

Thanks for the advice. I will check out the apk!
I presume this will not work with the native calendar app, though, but instead is a separate entity. It is worth looking at anyhow. Thanks again!
