Thumbs up Froyo still coming after all?

Checkout https://www.entourageedge.com/suppor...barticleid=263.

If nothing else, grab these "golden" updates while you can. Will be useful if you ever need to do a full reset of the EE or PE to the current Dingo versions.

EDIT: Note this article was *just* published today in the last few minutes.

Very interesting! Maybe there is hope we'll get it after all.

Seems we'll be getting froyo later today or tomorrow.

But, wait. Tomorrow is April 1, April Fool's Day. Tragic and sad.

I'm going to rely on the goodness of the community for this. That page is coming up blank for me, and searching the support centre I can't find an article numbered 263.

It's gone now. I did see it, though. Maybe it was moved out too soon?

I grabbed that golden whatever...now was that to update the edge, or revert it back from froyo to 1.6?

ugh..as it was downloading, it was cancelled from the other end.

I'm getting HTTP Error 500 now on that url. That indicates a server error. Could be someone jumped the gone and has been dealt with (severely, lol)...

In any case, my "golden" update downloads are still going, and I'm going to want those...

From Froyo to Dingo (1.1x).

The process to revert from a Froyo build (Ermine) back to a Donut build (Dingo) is detailed below. NO userdata will be saved. This is NOT an update or downgrade, it is a reformat of the edge/pocket and will delete all of your data and configurations.

I created a PDF of that page and downloaded the file for the EE. PM me if you want either.

I just went back in my cache and found the page for that golden update and restarted the download. It is now downloading again.

Alright you guys. Since I really need to work on my handouts now, I'm waiting for you to install and report back!! I can't risk messing up my edge right before the conference when I won't be able to think clearly about putting things back right.

Have at the Froyo! Bonne chance!

How me, I can test the Froyo without hesitation as I have the edge since a week. Not much things too important on it yet. But I can't find anywhere the links to update . When checking for updates from the Edge no more luck to get ERmine. Can someone shows me the link side of this strange force ??
