Cover art on PDF and epub

How do I add cover art to pdf and epub in the main Library app.
most are displayed without. I suspect this has been covered but I
can't seem to find any threads.

First, make sure you have the latest firmware installed. Run the "Update" app to check this.

I believe most cover art will then appear in the Library. However, some may only show half the cover - these you'll need to delete from the Library and then add back in (do this if no cover art appears at all, too).
