Android Android speech to text?

Hi,
The Android phone has speech-to-text capability as part of the OS (it can be used by any app on the phone). Will the Froyo release include this capability on the Edge?? That would be really, really useful.

I wouldn't count on it. The way I see it is that if they are having trouble getting Froyo to even RUN on the eDGe hardware, I think bells and whistles are at the bottom of the DEV to-do list.

I wouldn't count on it. The way I see it is that if they are having trouble getting Froyo to even RUN on the eDGe hardware, I think bells and whistles are at the bottom of the DEV to-do list.

I haven't tried the app cheyennedonna listed but she seems to indicate she has it working (she truly is amazing, isn't she?
