Why is the conflict between zooming and annotation for pdf still unsolved?

This limitation bothers me a lot actually, but it keep unsolved since we reported it at the first few day of releasing EE. Is this zooming function for annotation that difficult to add? Thank you.

I would also like to see this fixed. Makes the edge useless to annotate multicolumn papers where you are forced to use different zoomming levels...

We've discussed this in many places on the forum. Just to recap, though, tech support said that they are aware of this issue and they anticipate it being done in the update after next. The next update will focus on the UI, response, and speed of the eInk side. At least, that's how I understood their responses. Maybe one of the enTourage people reading the forum (or Boris, even though he does not work for enTourage ) could confirm this?

You know more than me on this point I haven't asked Tech Support myself about this issue recently. All I do know is that annotations and zooming/rotating is more difficult than it looks. Sort of how easy it looks for NASA to shoot the Shuttle into space (they just flip a switch and the rockets burn and it goes up - not that difficult, right?)

I shall relish this moment. No doubt, it will be short-lived

If we can put a man on the moon, we should be able to rotate a PDF.

And soon, we should be able to do that.
