Bug report: The wi-fi switch can be circumvented in some situation
The situation seems like: when turn on the switch and turn it off very quickly, the wifi is still going to connect successfully even if the switch is now already off. Please check. Thank you.

Yup - verified. Nice catch.
Specifically: - turn off the hardware wifi switch and wait for the Airplane symbol to appear on the Notification bar - wait 30 seconds (to ensure everything is settled) - turn on the hardware wifi switch and as soon as the Airplane symbol disappears, turn it back off - the eDGe will continue to make the wifi connection, and you'll be able to browse the web, etc., even with the hardware switch "off". I'll submit a Help Request ticket to enTourage with this. |
