Looks like you need to be on Facebook to qualify for this. Too bad.

I recommend Any Video Converter http://www.any-video-converter.com/p...or_video_free/. The formats it supports: http://www.any-video-converter.com/s...ed-formats.php. I use free version and it's great. It converts my mkv files with subtitles for 35-40 minutes, while keeping subtitles embedded.

Any Video Covnerter is also nice. As for iSkySoft, has anyone tested more than one format? The first movie I converted (into one of the several MP4 formats available) sounded great but had poor video playback on my eDGe--though it played beautifully on my PC. I didn't have time to experiment with other formats. Just wondering if someone could save me the trouble.

That happened to me with the default Edge video player. Try installing MVideoPlayer from the Apps section.
