Done

I have purchased the pocket eDGe and the full size eDGe. I am happy with the reader screen as i like to read outside in good weather before classes. However the are to many items that need to be worked out on the other side. I am unhappy with this. Should the app side have actually been a mini-computer, i think evrything would have been great. So i have decided to return both items for a refund to the store of purchase. I wish the tech's well on their efforts to solve the system problems.

Can you list the system problems you found serious enough to make them unusable?

Ytube, which came installed on the unit so there is no excuse for it not to play vid's and some of the free apps. I do really wish they could hook up with HP, i have a touch screen system that has the onscreen keyboard, hulu etc. I mean just look at all of the tiny netbooks that are on the market. As far as explaining the tech. side, i'm not that savy. Otherwise eDGe does have great potential.

Full flash support (and Youtube) will be addressed in the next update. You can play several video formats, you might want to try another video app (look at the EE site, under Applications).

I am not sure what you mean by saying it cannot work with some free apps. If an app is made for, say, Android 2.1 and higher, it cannot yet be played on the Edge, but in the near future. If you want to say that Market isn't supported, that's not the Entourage's fault. Once the Gingerbread is released, the Entourage will see if it could be installed on our Edge, because after that update, I guess we would be able to use the Market. However, the market apps currently can be found elsewhere.
