That's nice. I've been looking at solar-powered backpacks, bags, etc., but many won't charge anything bigger than a phone. Either that or they cost $500.

The tip is extremely hard to match, Energizer has been trying for weeks to get me the correct size.

Ooh! That's gorgeous, and so is this one. Here's the bag I've been lusting after, but it won't charge anything other than a cell phone. I'm looking for a similar bag that will--and doesn't cost a fortune.

Nice, but as solar becomes the norm there will be something soon.

Hope so. I use my eDGe at work every day, and I'm kinda tired of the bag I'm carrying around now. It's umm...tired.

It's from china. So don't count that the numbers will be real

Due to size, it's impossible that this device will fully recharge by sun even in 10hours. Also there's no info about Watt ann Volts output. So the 20Ah is just the capacity of internal battery. And wi don't know what type is it (Ni-Mh or Li-Po, e.t.c.). I know people who buy similar (but smaller) devices, and they don't recommend them.

p.s. eDGe charged at 2.5A * 12V = 30W.

Just a little note, chinavision is not manufacturer, it's something like ebay or alibaba. So don't trust to what thay say,
p.s. You can find iphone 3gs there, but it has nothing to do with apple's iphone for example.

That is gorgeous! I've been able to make due with a Derek Alexander as my "traveling purse/day bag" but the edge just barely fits in the main zippered part, lengthwise. There's still width room, and thin items can still fit in with the edge, but nothing bulky like my larger camera. I think it's time to upgrade to something slightly larger. A solar battery would be great, but I will settle for replacement batteries back in the store when I catch them I am ordering two.
