Browser keep saying "this is not enough space"

I can't download files anymore, every time I get this space alert.
The problem is that I have more than 2,5 gb free.
I also tried to restore the device to factory defaults a few time but it seems it has not resolved the issue.
Hoping for your support

Thanks for the answer but I've already tried all these procedures without results.
as said I also reset the device to factory defaults (this step erase all your cache/datas) but the problem hasn't gone.
