Installing ebooks

Hi.

I bought a book but not from entourage because there is no french books.
It is a pdf book, protected by Adobe.
To install it, I received a file called URLLink.acsm.
When the .acsm file is downloaded, I am correctly proposed to install the book in my library.

First problem, the link "Add to Library" from the browser does nothing : I have to use "Show in folder" to see the link in "My library".

Then, when I click on the .acsm file in "My Library", I have :

"This is a protected content, would you like to download and install it to your library ?"

I select Yes.

Second problem : The box does not disappear. I have a notification saying "Downloading content".

Thrid problem : Then, a few secondes after, I have an error in notifications saying "E_ADEPT_ACSM_NO_FULLFILLMENT_TOKEN".

(The box still there asking me if I wan't to install in my library ...)

Does anybody know how I can do ?

fouth problem : By the way, can we use "adb logcat" to see if there is more errors.
There is no option to enable debuging on application.
How do debug applications ?

I don't know if that will work on the edge, but I got around it (never tried it on the eDGe). The .acsm file is not the book. So I have bought books using my laptop and then just copied the .PDF file to the eDGe. Again, what I do may not be necessary but it does work. Hope this helps a little.

Yes, the casm si not the book. It is an xml file and contains the encoded book url and drm informations I suppose.
I tried to download it directly but it can't be read on the edge : There was an error opening the document.

So maybe somebody from edge can help because E_ADEPT_ACSM_NO_FULLFILLMENT_TOKEN must be an edge specific error message and as we don't have (as I know ?) any source, and don't have access to log, I'm unable to diagnose anything ...

I tried rapidly but it did not worked : On XP, Adobe Digital Edition is an AIR Application and I can't drag the book.
I'll look at his more quitly this evening and let you know : maybe I missed something.

Anyway, the message I have when trying to open de .acsm on the Edge is not really user-friendly.
The file appear with a book icon so we may think it should be recognized ...

This is a link to an article Boris wrote. I know enTourage doesn't want to dilute sales from its own store but I hope they also understand the need to get books from other sources.

Thanks a lot, transferring the pdf worked !

The bug when opening .casm is still there, but I don't know if it's usefull to fill a bug somewhere.
For now, I can read

But seing my poor english level, I should maybe by and try some in english ...

The file type is recognized but did not work.
2 options :
1/ the opération is really not supported (and not an error) : I would expect a message "This opération is not supported" with eventually a link to an url explaining how to do.
2/ the opération should work but an error happend. A message like "An unexpected error occured." and, for exemple, a link to this forum would be nice.

But "E_ADEPT_ACSM_NO_FULLFILLMENT_TOKEN" is, according to me, not an option for end users ....
