A link to the YouTube apk

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=537412
I found a link to a download for the YouTube apk, It runs on the Android phones, without flash.
Note that after you download the file you need to rename the file extension from .zip to .apk

I downloaded the youtube apk and the home page loads fine but every video I click on or search for says not compatible. Does anyone else have this problem?

I haven't been able to get it to play anything either, so I uninstalled it.

cheyennedonna, do you have this working. Like the others, I cannot get it to play anything. It will find videos that I search for, but will not play them. Some setting wrong perhaps??
Thanks.

No - I had to send my Edge in for repair before I found the link, I don't know why it's not working, the YouTube app is standard on an Android phone and none of them have flash yet either. Maybe because it is the HD version.

Here is a link to Android Tapp, and an article with a link to a YouTube downloader app, it is a paid ($1.99) app that can be purchased and downloaded from the developers site. http://www.androidtapp.com/youtube-downloader/
I have not tried this app.

The developers web site http://www.siriusapplications.com/tubedroid/

I found out how to do it download tubedroid from http://forum.ppcwarez.org/viewtopic....111206&start=0 then go to it and hit menu and search type in the video you want and it will come up tap the video and a screen will come up that says download to dophine, or tubedroid, video or audio, hit video it will then download to memory card. then it it will play in full screen mode. You can also go into tubedroid and hit the menu and help it will show you the same steps.
