Variable scrolling on e-Ink display
A problem I have with scrolling on the eInk page when zoomed in is that it shifts the entire width of the display. So, if what I want to see centered happens to be at the edge of the page the choice is to see half of it at a time or try to zoom out and then back in to line up the screen right.
I'd appreciate it if scrolling could move a variable, customizable amount (100% of screen width, 70% of screen width, etc.) OR, add a scrolling control that lets the user touch a spot on the screen, drag the pen to another spot, and then the Edge scrolls the document exactly from the starting point to the end point. In other words I could touch something I want to see in the center of the screen, drag to the center and then the page is zoomed in where I want it. This can also be used to tweak the page if just a small part of the page needed is off screen. Last edited by kenjennings; 04-11-2010 at 12:24 PM. |
