No more waiting for eDGes to ship?

I noticed on the "Devices" page that the "New orders will ship on..." message below the Buy button has been removed.

I guess that now enTourage will be shipping units out 1-2 business days after an order is placed?

I hope you are correct!

Since that went away I made my buy decision Friday the 2nd. But my order status still says processing. I got it with 2 day shipping so I hope!!!!!!

I do hope you realize how very lucky you are! Almost everyone else on these forums at this point had to wait week and months from the date they ordered to the date it shipped

Awaiting Shipment = They have not shipped them yet because they have not received their own shipment?

I guess not, they just shipped mine.

Don't expect eDGe so much. It will take you 2 or 3 night of staying up to get used to it and learn the functions on ads which you can never figure out by yourselves without the instructions. And the bugs may make you mad, though you can get along well with most of them when you know them. haha enjoy!

Hi edgelover - that site is run by "ckole" (I supply some of the articles he posts).

If you have questions, you should post them in the "General Help" forum on this site, here. There are lots of people that would be quick and happy to help you out

You should see a 1 next to "Notifications" at the top right hand screen while you are in the Forums.

I usually get an email notification, too. Not sure if that's a setting somewhere...

On the flip side, they did manage to correct my mistake when I cancelled an order and re-ordered and thus lost my place in shipping. Tom managed to get my edge to ship in time.

Give the device a chance. The first day I got it, to be honest, I was kind of underwhelmed. But after using it for a couple of days, I can appreciate the thought and design that went into producing this. The eink side puts Amazon's Kindle DX to shame. And the LCD side holds up it's own with the Ipad.

Only problem is the weight, but I find that holding it like a book actually works pretty well.
