Best Buy is closing it's "megastores" in the UK, I read.

Hope my 350 "clearance" special arrives tomorrow as promised......

Nor did I until I googled around trying to find a 350 - the name popped up and I was about to bin it, when I noticed the £ sign.

I don't know how long they've been operating here, but it seemed a bit odd I hadn't noticed it before - during those trawls one does around birthday dates, etc...

The mysteries of commerce....

Apparently it was started about a year ago as a collaboration between the UK's "Carphone Warehouse" and the US "Best Buy". They had 12 shops in various parts of the country. The shops are closing, but the web business will continue. I notice that one of the shops is not too far away from me, in Liverpool. I may visit it and see if they have any good sales on.

That's good to know ( probably, we obviously have little feedback on what service/support is like.......... or do we ? )

Reassuring - and then some !

My neighbour's just brought round my 350, delivered while I was toiling, so it arrived on time as promised, and with the correct contents.
Excellent.

And in perfect order - as it should be, as it came in a very secure stout cardboard box, 32/1'1" x 25/10" x 25/10" , and surrounded by enough "airsack" packing to raise the Titanic...... I think we know how large the 350 is ?

I think it's well up there in the top 5 most safely packed things I've ever had delivered !

( I suppose some will grumble about the environment - but I'll re-cycle the sacks in a cushion, and eat the box, or something equally worthy...... )
