Free-text search...
I'm enjoying using Calibre to manage electronic books and other technical documents - it is far better than trying to do it by hand using directories.
What I'd like to be able to do is search for keywords in my documents - not just in the meta data. One option would be to use a tool like Google Desktop Search independently of Calibre - but that makes it difficult, for example, to also restrict my search to books with specific tags or other meta-data. It would be great if there were a way to integrate Calibre with something like Recoll - for an integrated document/library management experience. Are there any plans to support this sort of functionality - either in Calibre itself, using plugins? |
