Oberon does not sell to Germany?
Last night I wanted to order an Oberon Cover/Small Journal for my 650. Odd thing is there is no way of entering a shipping address in Germany. I sent them an email to ask what's going on, but haven't received an answer yet.
Does anyone happen to know if they have a "No-Germany" policy? |

I know that Oberon has shipped to Norway, Sweden, Finland, and the UK. I have difficulty believing that they would not ship to Germany.
You might want to be a bit more patient on responses. It was about 90 minutes after your first post that you posted again. Most cover questions are addressed in the specific reader forum so it could be that no one had an answer or that the ones who know a little bit about Oberon had not checked here yet. |

Just called Oberon. They do ship to Germany. Put your full address in the special instructions box and they will get the product to you.
Just an FYI, you can ask them to customize a cover for you by removing the wool pad and the pocket if you want. There are folks who don't realize this and are bummed after they find out that it was an option. |

Which cover did you order? I have this one, and I really like it
![]() But I would recommend getting the cover without the wool pad if you have a cat - it enables a kind of ecosystem in which the cat deposits hair on the furniture, the wool pad picks up the hair and deposits it on the screen, and I pick up the hair and deposit it in the trash. ![]() |

![]() Funny, they always end up curling on the sofa and watching us doing the work... I once had a white one that used me as his lavatory attendant. After finishing his business he never cared to shuffle it under some litter but stepped out of his litter box and knocked against it with his paw. Really a knocking sound. Then he stuck his head around the corner and if I wasn't fast enough to show up with the little shovel he knocked again. And I swear, he looked smug when I hurried to do "my" job. ![]() I want a red Clouddragon Small Journal for a red 650. Should look great, shouldn't it? Haven't ordered it yet. Their website is a PITA. First I had to enter my Borderlinx adress as it only proceeded when fed a valid adress and then it only showed UPS as shipping option, even though Small journals are supposed to be USPS eligible. I am not sure now if I wanna trust them with my VisaCard. In the end it might be shipped via UPS to my borderlinx adress and I will end up paying UPS, Borderlinx, the cover and VAT. Nope. If I have to commute at some point in time and use mass transit I will get a cover. Right now I don't need the protection of a cover all the time. I want something to protect my Kindle when I am not reading it but I am reading it in places that I am very comfortable with and feel safe.

Whereas I want the Oberon for reading at home. Somehow I have the impression they are nice to hold. The Sony covers are extremly thin, thus making them favorable for on the go, but I want something more sensuous for at home use.

Is the Skydragon softer to the touch as the allover patterned CloudDragon?

Yes. They are using a different leather. My Sky Dragon is pebbled and my Sun and Cloud Dragon are smooth.
