[NOOK2nd Ed] myNook feature?

I was wandering around on the B&N site knocking around the idea of replacing my NookClassic. I came across this in the feature list for the new Nook:

Quote:
My NOOK™- Coming soon! MY NOOK™ lets you access everything NOOK online, from any computer: Shopping, recommendations, your library, NOOK Friends™ and more. It’s a fast and easy way to manage it all, so your NOOK is always ready to go with great reads!
Now I'm wondering if that means the new Nook will have some sort of PC librarly management for shelves. And if that feature would extend to the My Documents section. Anyone heard anything?

I don't know about the pc library management but if the new nook has the same management as the nook color then there is no more separate "my documents" in terms of shelving etc. They are all merged into one library. The did a nice job with it.

How does the shelving work on the NC? Do you still have to create the shelves on the device? I assume that the firmware will look more like the Color to present a unified "look" so its not unreasonable to think they would be similar.

yeah you create by editing each shelf to name it what you want, and then you touch each titile you want brought on to the shelf. It's not too bad, the UI is really nice, and the look of the shelves is pretty sweet. but if you have a very very large library, Calibre will still be you management of choice.
but for setting this up and have some go to books, I like it.

You can group B&N content and sideloaded content into the same shelf on the NC. Unfortunately it has to be done manually on the device. I am curious what MyNook will be too. The details have been very sparse so far!

hmm...the digital reader website is blocked at my work...it says it's in the "game playing" category LOL.

I'll have to read it when I get home.
