What is the Nook edition?
When I look at Overstock selling Nook 6", it says "1st edition". People also talk about 2nd edition in forums.
Does "edition" refer to the firmware version or to the hardware revision? |

It refers to the hardware. 1st edition means the Nook with the e-ink screen + LCD color display on the bottom, also sometimes referred to as the "Nook Classic". 2nd edition is the brand new touchscreen version which B&N has named the "Simple Touch Reader". Hope that helps!

So the 2nd edition doesn't have LCD color screen in the bottom?
Looks like all online stores only carry devices with color LCD in the bottom. How can I find 2nd edition then? |
