Once you remove a book (an Amazon book, I should say) it goes to the Archive.

As the previous poster said, the "Archive" is simply a list of all the books you've bought from Amazon that aren't currently loaded on the device, so once you delete a book from the reader it will automatically reappear on the "Archive" page. You can't add your own books to the Archive.

Speaking of the Kindle for Blackberry, I was wondering if anyone had any input on this, whether it's worth it or not.

It runs in full-screen, so makes the best possible use of the available screen real estate, but that is still a pretty small window. A bit less display options than with other Kindle apps, basically you just have a choice of 6 text sizes, no colour scheme options. Buying, synchronizing and keeping current position updated work as they do with any other Kindle app. I'd say useful in a pinch if you are stuck in a line for a bit with nothing else to read on, and as a companion to another Kindle device/app, but most people probably wouldn't be comfortable reading for extended periods on it. Especially as there is little control over brightness, so it is likely to cause more eyestrain than other LCD devices. (I'm running it on a Bold 2) |

If you're asking if it's comfortable to read on a Blackberry, that's very much a matter of personal taste. I rarely use the Kindle app on my iPhone, because I find the iPhone screen to small to read on for long periods of time, and the Blackberry's screen is even smaller. All I can suggest is that you try it and see how it suits you; if you already have a Blackberry, it'll cost you nothing to try it out. |
