hi there...

well - first of all - i am dane which means i am from denmark

and currently styding at the university. i just realized that this year will be loaded with articles the-pdf-way which to me seems okay, except that i dont want to print 150 to 200 pages per week - simply too expensive.
so i started thinking and thought about getting one of these sony-things... but before i ask my friend in the us to go get it for me i really want to make sure that it supports my native language... so anybody? - can i use æ ø å and the uppercase Æ Ø Å ?

You can. I just tested it in Book Designer with the language set to German. Copied your message, pasted it into Book Designer, created the LRF and viewed it with the Connect software viewer and it looked fine.

Though I am not German its good to see that Danish works with German, viewed in a US-program

One more thing to consider, Kian, is that the Reader doesn't handle A4 sized PDF pages all that well. You need to know that before you plunk down your money.

There are ways to mitigate that some, but they involve extra steps. If you're looking mainly for a PDF viewer, you may be disappointed.
