Question about Nook WiFi

Hello, I have a b&w Nook with WiFi, and a home network with WPA2/AES security.

Is there a way to edit the wifi properties on the Nook without typing everything in on the Nook keyboard? It's tiresome to try typing 64 hex characters for the encryption key. It would be so much easier if I could connect through the USB port and edit the wireless properties from my PC.

Anybody know if this can be done?

Given the simplified interface on the Nook (Pre-Root) and the lack of access to the system folder, I highly doubt it. It was made to be a self sustaining device, and AFAIK theres no nook PC app.

Post-Root, MAYBE, but thats all up in the air right now, and not worth the effort just for this purpose.

Doesn't the device keep your password in it's cache after you enter it the first time?

Since NOOK doesn't accept 64-hex-digit encryption keys, there's no point in wearing yourself out.

NOOK requires a passphrase, not a hex key, for WPA and WPA2.
