Tags Category Disappeared with 0.8.2

I just downloaded 0.8.2 for Mac (I have OSX 10.6.7) and the "tags" category in "edit metadata" has disappeared. I went into options and unchecked tags in appearance and rechecked, but no dice. Categories are showing up in the browser window, but there's no way to edit them. Manage tags, of course, shows tags in general, the same way it always has. This is driving me nuts.

Is there some other way to edit tags? Has the option just moved, and I haven't figured out how to find it yet?

I tried reinstalling the prior version, and they didn't come back.
